October 4 – Feast of St. Francis of Assisi

Oct 4, 2016

+ Pax et Bonum +

I wish you all this day a most blessed Feast of St. Francis of Assisi!

St. Francis is known as the second Christ since he modeled his life so closely after Our Lord.  The sacred stigmata imprinted onto St. Francis is proof of this.

Tertiaries and cordbearers may obtain a plenary indulgence this day by renewing their profession/novitiate/commitment and fulfilling the usual conditions required for a plenary indulgence.
