Original Version of the Secret of Our Lady of La Salette to Melanie Alludes to the Great Catholic Monarch

The original version of the Secret of Our Lady of La Salette to Melanie was recorded by Melanie in 1851 and alludes to the Great Catholic Monarch and that he will come before the antichrist.

“A great king will go up on the throne, and will reign a few years. Religion will re-flourish and spread all over the world, and there will be a great abundance, the world, glad not to be lacking nothing, will fall again in its disorders, will give up God, and will be prone to its criminal passions.

“…..Lastly, hell will reign on earth. It will be then that the Antichrist will be born of a Sister, but woe to her! Many will believe in him, because he will claim to have come from heaven, woe to those who will believe in him!”

Please note that the 1879 version of the secret attributed to Melanie was condemned by the Church and placed on the Index of Forbidden Books in 1923.  This is the version that states that “Rome will lose the faith and become the seat of the Antichrist”.  This is doctrinally incorrect because the seat of the antichrist will be Jerusalem.

Union des Cercles Légitimistes de France

The following website is run by a group that wants to restore the traditional French monarchy:

http://uclf.org/

This is a laudable effort.  However, I do not agree with the group’s position that Louis Alphonse de Bourbon (also known as Louis XX) is the current legitimate claimant to the French throne.  I stated the following in this post:

“Louis Alphonse de Bourbon does come from the line of King Louis XIV through King Philip V.  However, King Philip V renounced his claim to the French throne for himself and for all of his successors.  Therefore, historically speaking, Louis Alphonse de Bourbon has no claim to the French throne today.”

A Wikipedia page states the following:

“In the Treaty of Utrecht that ended the war, Philip finally agreed to renounce for himself and his descendants, his rights to the French throne only after the introduction of semi-Salic law in Spain.”

Now it is understandable that given that the elder branch of the Bourbon family actually died off with the death of Henry V, Count of Chambord, the younger branch would claim the right to the throne despite a previous renunciation.  However, this is where God’s Providence will be brought to light when He raises Henry V from the dead and gives him the title of the Great Catholic Monarch.

Union des Cercles Légitimistes de France recognizes Henri V as a legitimate claimant to the French throne.

Two Books on Marie-Julie Jahenny for Download

Marie-Julie Jahenney is well-known for her prophecies regarding the Angelic Pope and Great Catholic Monarch to come.  It is my opinion that the Great Catholic Monarch is Henry V, Count of Chambord, who Our Lord will raise from the dead in His own good time.

The Great Catholic Monarch Is Henry V, Count of Chambord

I have come to the conclusion, at the level of opinion, that the Great Catholic Monarch is Henry V, Count of Chambord.  He died in 1883, but I believe that Our Lord will raise him from the dead in His own good time.  Let us pray that Our Lord will have mercy on us in this time of great evil.

The tomb of Henry V is contained in the crypt of the church of the Franciscan Monastery of Kostanjevica in Nova Gorica, Slovenia.  What follows is a video of the monastery and a picture of the crypt.
